Can the Coronavirus stop Cricket for long ? Absolutely NO ! Fans of the game can exhale in relief. England’s tour of India in 2021, which will comprise of four ICC World Test Championship matches, five T20Is and three ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League matches has been finally confirmed. The much-awaited marquee series, which will kick off with a four-match Test series for the Anthony de Mello Trophy is scheduled to commence on January 5, 2021.

Chennai will be also hosting the second Test while the newly-built Sardar Patel Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the remaining two Test matches. Motera is the largest cricket stadium in the world which boasts of state-of-the-art facilities and a seating capacity of around 110,000 ! The ICC took to twitter to reveal to the much excitement of the awaiting fans:

Test series:
February 5-9: 1st Test, Chennai
February 13-17: 2nd Test, Chennai
February 24-28: 3rd Test (day/night), Ahmedabad
March 4-8: 4th Test: Ahmedabad

T20I series:
March 12: 1st T20I, Ahmedabad
March 14: 2nd T20I, Ahmedabad
March 16: 3rd T20I, Ahmedabad
March 18: 4th T20I, Ahmedabad
March 20: 5th T20I, Ahmedabad

ODI series:
March 23: 1st ODI, Pune
March 26: 2nd ODI, Pune
March 28: 3rd ODI, Pune
