THE VIRAL BABA KA DHABA OWNER OPENS A RESTAURANT IN SOUTH DELHI | INDIAN & CHINESE IN THE MENU

Remember the recent online feud between the 80-year-old Baba Ka Dhaba Owner Kanta Prasad and YouTuber Gaurav Wasan. If not then let us put some light on that matter, it happened when a YouTube content creator Gaurav Wasan approached a migrant worker in New Delhi while covering a report on Covid-19 impacts on labours and daily workers. The video went viral over the social media and the donations from all around the nation and even from abroad started coming in. Until here, everything was running great but the situation turned terrible for the YouTuber when he was accused of cheating from the same kiosk owner. The old man accused the YouTuber for falsifying bank account details for donations and instead of using Old Man’s bank account, Youtuber allegedly used his own bank accounts. After the old man’s complaint, an FIR was lodged against the youtuber for misleading the crowding funding and for dealing a fraudulent activity.

Now the old man, Kanta Prasad is once again trending on social media but this time not with YouTuber. The old kiosk owner has now inaugurated his new restaurant in the Malviya Nagar locality of South Delhi. The old man along with his wife Badami Devi and son Jai Hind will be running this restaurant. They recently spent 5 lakhs in renovating the new restaurant that has a rent of about 35,000 per month. The restaurant will start serving from Wednesday this week.

“We’re very happy, god has blessed us. I want to thank people for their help, I appeal to them to visit my restaurant. We will serve Indian & Chinese cuisine here,” said the restaurant owner, Kanta Prasad in an interview to ANI.

Kanta Prasad also informed that he will continue to run his old eatery with the same name of ‘Baba ka Dhaba’ and will work on shifts. He added that till afternoon he will be at new restaurant and post that he will continue working at his old place just like any time before.

Meanwhile, there are still some people giving credit of Kanta Prasad’s success to the YouTuber Gaurav Wasan. They say if it wasn’t Gaurav then financial condition of the old man would not have changed.
