After the Failed 10th Round of Discussion With The Centre, Farmers Announce #26JanDelhiChlo

The farmer protests are turning into a more chaotic phase every morning as the farmers are stopping at nothing more than revocation of the three farm bills.

Even after several attempts from the Central government and the defined committee from the Supreme court, police’s demand of shifting the farmers’ rally outside Delhi, the agitated farmers have decided to carry forward the tractor rally on January 26th.

After the 10th round of talks with the Central government which was mandated to discuss the repeal of farm bills for eighteen months ended on uneven terms where the farmers disagreed to accept the Centre’s proposal.

Later the farm unions announced to continue #26JanDelhiChlo.

While the farmers continue the protests at the Singhu border, today they claim to capture a man who said was a part of a ten-member team trained to ignite violence on their #26januarytractorparade.

The man who was sitting along with the farmers in the protests before the media saying ‘Our plan was that on January 26...from the first line, a gun will be fired when the Delhi police tries to stop (the tractor rally). The orders are to first try and stop them (farmers). If they don't stop, the orders are to fire at them. On 24th, the plan is to shoot the four people on stage. We were trained by Pradeep Singh...he is police SHO of Rai (station house officer or station in charge). Whenever he came to meet us, he would be wearing a mask.’

The man further claimed that there were nine other men and two women who were assigned to disrupt the violence.

However, the SHO of the Rai Police station said no policeman named Pradeep is stationed at Rai and also said that he was surprised by the farmer’s accusations.

The man said that he was trained by the police officials and aimed to disrupt the farmers tractor rally on 26th January.

The SHO of Rai police station, however, is Vivek Malik and no other policeman named Pradeep is stationed there. Mr Malik, who's been posted at Rai for the past seven months, said he watched the farmers' press conference last night and was surprised at the claims made by the captured man.

At the press briefing, the unnamed man also said there were nine others, including two women, who were part of the team meant to spark chaos at the tractor rally, although he didn't know the names of the others.
