Nagarjuna Announces Brahmastra’s Wrap Up
Nagarjuna Akkineni shared the wrap-up post on internet announcing the shoot completion.
During the current coronavirus pandemic, the filming of several films had to stop and this has postponed the release of several of the films most expected.
Even the release date of Ayan Mukerji Brahmastra has been postponed, but the cast returns to the set and the rest of the film is to be filmed.
Nagarjuna Akkineni, who plays a key role in the film, finished shooting with a note in the social media for Brahmastra and bid good-bye to the party.
In a post on Tuesday Alia Bhatt also revealed that they are approaching the shooting finish.
Brahmastra is a three-part trilogy of fantasy, led by Ayan Mukerji. The lead roles are to be seen by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Ranbir plays with a man named Shiva with superpowers, while the character of Alia is called Isha.
In addition, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia also stars in the film as well as Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Mouni has previously been confirmed to play the part of the principal villain of the film. Other actors' character specifics were kept under their wrap.
Ayan Mukerji told a news portal about his film earlier: "It is a modern film set in India today. But Brahmastra is named because energy, wisdom and power come from ancient India in the film. That's all I'd say. Some costumes exist, perhaps not the way you would expect them to be."
Brahmastra will be released on December 4, 2020. The news was shared on the social media by Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji. The release date had to be delayed because of the continuing coronavirus pandemic. The developers also have a new release date to announce.
The Ayan Mukerji direction will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Production.
