AERO INDIA 2021 | 13TH EDITION OF AN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION SHOWCASING LETHAL POWER OF INDIAN ARMED FORCES

The Aero India 2021 exhibition, the country's top aerospace and defense show, was launched at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru on Wednesday in the background of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Numerous mighty aircrafts from Indian Air force (IAF), Army, Navy, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) covered the skies and showcased the majestic power these machines hold with their high-tech arsenals and maneuverability. The armed forces and technical institutes took part in the 13th edition of the international aero exhibition, which is world’s first-ever hybrid aero and defense exhibition.

The three-day event will concentrate on Indian indigenous defense sector capabilities strengthening the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India campaigns.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the biannual programme, which is expected to include 601 exhibitors, comprising 523 from India and 78 from 14 overseas nations, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the event would highlight India's enormous potential and the nation's many prospects in the defense and aerospace industry.

BrahMo's supersonic cruise missile is as exhibit at Aero India in Bengaluru for the role of coastal defense. The Indian Navy will induct the BrahMos missile as a part of its Next Generation Naval Coastline Defense System.

Defence Research and Development Organization introduces a prototype of India's the fifth generation advanced medium Combat Aircraft at Aero India 2021. As per DRDO, the aircraft will come with stealth technology and all the characteristics of a multi-role fighter aircraft.

Indian Air Force Su-30MKI combat jet armed with an air-launched version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile on as exhibit at Aero India 2021. One specialized Air Force squadron is armed with these missiles capable of reaching more than 400-km.

Another aircraft among many which grabbed everyone’s attention was the gigantic American B-1B Lancer aircraft which took part in the Bengaluru Air Show by traveling a 26 Hours long air-distance all the way from South Dakota city in the United States.
