Russian President praised India on 76th Independence Day, elaborating India-Russia relations as “spirit of special strategic cooperation”

In addition, Putin also noted that India "by right enjoys great authority on the international arena, playing a positive role in resolving important issues on the international agenda."

In response to Mr. Putin’s appreciations, PM Modi also thanked other world leaders along with him. World leaders such as Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and French President Emmanuel Macron were thanked by Mr. Modi.
