No Survivors Found After Nepal Plane Crash, 72 On Board Passengers Assumed Dead; Receives 316.1K Digital Engagement: CheckBrand

The Nepal Army reported on Monday that no survivors of the Sunday's plane crash in the tourist destination of Pokhara had been found.

According to Krishna Prasad Bhandari, the spokesperson for the Nepal Army, "We haven't rescued anyone alive from the crash site."

While making a landing at the recently opened airport in Pokhara, Nepal, a Yeti Airlines passenger plane crashed into a river gorge. On board, 72 people, including five Indians, are thought to be dead. Following Sunday's plane crash in Pokhara, Nepal's Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called a special meeting of the Council of Ministers.

While travelling from Pokhara to the Nepali capital of Kathmandu, an ATR 72 twin-engine turboprop plane crashed. The investigation into the crash's causes has been given to a special commission by the Nepalese government. In 45 days, a report is expected.
