BCCI President Sourav Ganguly Admitted To Hospital | Wishing Speedy Recovery For The God Of Offside

Earlier today, former Indian team captain and present BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly was admitted to the Woodlands Multi-specialty Hospital in Kolkata. Although hospital confirmation is awaited, multiple news agencies have confirmed that after reports of "acute chest pain." the former cricketer was hospitalized. According to reports, his medical condition is stated to be stable.

Senior sports journalist Boria Majumdar was among the first few to bring this information to the social media attention. Shocking the ‘Dada’ fans, Majumdar mentioned that Ganguly felt uneven for his health when he was exercising at the gym, the BCCI president later went to Woodlands hospital where his medical reports revealed his deteriorating health condition.

“He felt dizzy when he was in the gym and he went to Woodlands to get the Tests done. That’s when it came to light that there was a cardiac issue and the hospital has now created a 3 member board with Dr. Saroj Mondal who will perform the procedure. @SGanguly99 get well soon,” said Boria Majumdar through his official twitter handle.

 

 

“He had a heart issue and is in Woodlands hospital. But is stable will need a procedure confirm hospital sources. Should be out of the woods in the next few hours. I wish him a speedy recovery. @SGanguly99,” Boria Majumdar adding to his previous tweet.

 

 

Sourav Ganguly aka Dada, is the living legend in the history of Indian Cricket. The former Indian team captain was famed for his aggressive cricketing style and for his strong leadership stands towards his team and his country. No-one can match Dada’s perfection in off-side stroke plays and the swinging sixes in the off. And who would forget Dada’s victory celebration by removing his jersey at the Lord’s Balcony during the Natwest Series in 2002 which ultimately has become a part of Indian cricketing folklore. Dada’s Message was loud and clear that ‘India will not bow down to any other cricket team’.

“BCCI President Sourav Ganguly admitted to Woodland Hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal. More details awaited,” reported ANI through its official Twitter account.

 

“I wish and pray for the speedy recovery of @SGanguly99. I’ve spoken to his family. Dada is stable and is responding well to the treatment,” said BCCI Secretary, Jay Shah.

 

The state’s chief minister also responded to the matter by wishing a speedy recovery to the BCCI President. “Sad to hear that @SGanguly99 suffered a mild cardiac arrest and has been admitted to hospital. Wishing him a speedy and full recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family!,” said Mamta Banerjee, The Chief Minister of West Bengal.
