Zhong Shanshan Beats Mukesh Ambani In The Race Of Richest Asian | Dethroned Jack Ma As Well

Zhong Shanshan recently achieved the milestone of being the richest person in Asia and the 11th richest on the planet with a net worth of 77.8 Billion USD which jumped from 70.9 Billion USD earlier this year.

Zhong crossed India’s richest businessman, Mukesh Ambani and also made the billionaire Zack Ma as the former richest Chinese businessman.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Zhong's net worth rose from $70.9 billion this year to $77.8 billion, making him the 11th-richest person on the planet. It's one of the highest wealth accumulations in history, and all the more impressive given that he was little recognized outside of China until this year. Zhong is a different kind of billionaire who stays away from the limelight and that is why he was rarely quoted in the news media but now we have all the reasons to write about him.

In China, Zhong is locally called as the “Lone Wolf” businessman, and the reason is his lack of interest in politics and with other businessmen. He’s a man who doesn’t get bothered about his image in media; he keeps all of his efforts and focus towards his bottled water company ‘Nongfu Spring’.

Zhong himself have grown from an employee to one of the biggest employer, before jumpstarting his own venture he had a career in various domains such as Journalism, Mushroom farming, and Healthcare business. April this year, Zhong acquired Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise Co. Public, a vaccine maker Biotech company and few months later he bought Nongfu Spring Co., a maker of bottled water. Zhong’s takeover of these business enterprises showed a positive jump in the Hong Kong’s Stock Market, where Nongfu shares jumped 155% since its debut, Wantai’s reached at a staggering height with 2,000% rise.
