Congress Demands Modi’s Farmer Addressal After Red Fort Sordid

After the Red fort sordid, the country is divided into groups, one which opposes the act of hoisting the Nishan Sahib flag on the red fort and the others who condemned the act because the flag was hoisted by Deep Sindhu who is called the ruling party ally.

But the common ground is, the country unitedly condemned the act of raising a religious flag at the red fort that too on Republic day. Indians claimed that the act is disrespectful and despite supporting the farmers protests, they did not stand for an act that shatters the reputation of the country.

As soon as the flag was hoisted and the images spread all over the internet, the opposition parties began asking the unanswered question from PM Modi. Like every other instance, Congress has thousands of questions to ask and much more advice to give to the Central government.

In a statement Congress said ‘Is it right to distract the country and agitate the farmers? Even after 175 farmer deaths, isn’t it necessary that our PM should at least address the farmers now?

The Congress has been constantly criticizing the Modi government for not handling the farmers protests on the first hand, now the party blames the ruling government to be responsible for the disrespectful act. The Congress however believes if the govt. would have understood the demand of Indian farmers, this would not have happened.

Congress stalwart Rahul Gandhi recently tweeted ‘You can win the world with patience. I once again request the PM to take back the three farm bills.’

The Congress has been vocal about the farmer protests demanding revocation of the farm bills since the farmer protests have started.

Not only Congress but the whole country now wants an address from PM Modi after the farmer protest turned into violent clashes yesterday.
