Barcelona fans have another reason for jubilation. The soccer star Lionel Messi has broken Pele's all-time record with 644 goals for Barcelona. Lionel Messi scored his 644th Goal for Barcelona on Tuesday at Valladolid, breaking the great Pele's all time scoring record for the most number of goals scored for a single club across competitions. "When I started playing football, I never thought I would break any records, especially the one I broke today, which was Pele's. I can only thank everyone who's helped me all these years, my teammates, my family, my friends, and everyone who supports me every day"
The football star Pele also congratulated Messi on this incredible feat. He wrote:

However, it seems Messi's period at Barcelona may end sooner as the soccer star is out of contract at the end of the season.
