#SackRaviShastri: Is Rahul Dravid our New Hope ?

After our Men in Blue were bowled out for 36 in the 3rd innings on Day 3 of India vs Australia Test Series, netizens are demanding the resignation of coach Ravi Shastri with hashtag #sackravishastri trending the charts on the social media platform twitter:

For openers Matthew Wade (33) and Joe Burns (51) chasing a target of 90 was no big deal and they walked off home with a lead of 1-0 in the 4-Match Test Series.
As it has been a common trend in India, Coach Shastri's contributions were instantly branded as incompetent in nature and fans started demanding his resignation.

It has been often commented in the past that Shastri was bought primarily to feed Virat Kohli's enormous ego and help him make stupid decisions like dropping a pace bowler at Lords and dropping the likes of Rahane in South Africa and Pujara in England to accommodate cricketer like Hardik Pandya. Its often said that both Kohli and Shastri, together removed Anil Kumble as a coach. Although one can never assert these claims but speculations can always be created.

There have been also another line of thoughts which believes that Ravi Shastri has been made the Coach of Indian Cricket team to bring Kohli down to earth and understand that being a great batsman does not make you a great captain.

The dramatic event was taken by the ICC on their twitter platform:

Several fans posted pictures of him taking a nap, taking a dig at his unsatisfactory performance as a coach in recent times:

Ravi Shastri along with Virat Kohli are being alleged in the social media platforms for ruining the Indian cricket team and a campaign against them already seems to have started:

However, no comment from the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Saurav Ganguly has come so far. Even Anushka Sharma is being targeted on social media platforms for India's performance and fans are demanding to replace Shastri with Rahul Dravid.

According to checkbrand.online, the Captain Cool Virat Kohli currently holds a positive perception of 49.6 percent while negative being only 5.9:

Its only a matter of time that this would take a turn if team India continued with such performances in future.
