Jasprit Bumra Becomes Another Indian Cricketer To Tie The Marriage Knot | “Love, If It Finds You Worthy, Directs Your Course,” Says Bumra
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah ties knot with the TV sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan in Goa. Amid the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, the marriage took place among just 20 people with no mobiles allowed inside the wedding premises.
Earlier it was speculated that Bumrah had taken a personal leave from the Indian cricket team right before the fourth test against England. It was later disclosed that he was seeking some days off the game due to his upcoming wedding ceremony.
While taking it to social media, Bumrah in a romantic fashion wrote, “Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you.”
In response to his social media post straight from the wedding venue, the comment section was flooded with greetings and best wishes to the couple.
Jasprit Bumrah (27) is India’s international cricket player, in his cricketing career until now, the right-arm pacer has played 19 Tests, 67 One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and 50 T20 International matches since his debut in the year 2016.
Bumrah was recently surpassed by another Indian bowler Yuzvendra Chahal, in the race of leading wicket-takers in T20 Internationals. Chahal grabbed the position of highest wicket-taker during the T20 series against England.
On the other hand, Sanjana Ganesan is a Sports Media presenter who has appeared on various Television programs hosting several game shows during ICC Cricket 2019 tournament, IPL series, and during other Team India matches.
