PM Modi spoke to Macron, Conveyed India’s solidarity with France
Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed global issues with French President Emmanuel Macron in telephonic conversation on Tuesday. According to Modi, the two leaders also decided to work closely to address the world's concerns related to both food and energy securities.
He wrote on his twitter handle, “Spoke to my friend President Emmanuel Macron today, Conveyed India’s solidarity with France in dealing with the devastating wildfires. We discussed on-going bilateral cooperation under the India-France Strategic Partnership, and other issues of global and regional significance.”

The leaders also discussed bilateral projects, including defence cooperation projects and cooperation in civil nuclear energy, according to a statement by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
