Turmoil in Bihar Politics: Nitish Kumar back in Grand Alliance; Oath Ceremony Today

Sanjay Jaiswal, the state BJP president, accused Nitish Kumar of betraying the people of Bihar since this is the second time in last eight years that the Nitish-led JD(U) has cut ties with the BJP.

On a day of rapid-fire political developments, Nitish Kumar, the erratic former chief minister of Bihar, met with Governor Phagu Chauhan once more shortly after announcing his resignation. He asserted his right to form a new administration. He was accompanied by Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition.

At 2:00 pm on Wednesday, the JD (U) "Mahagathbandhan" will take the oath of office. Nitish has already been chosen as the Mahagathbandhan's leader. CheckBrand analyzed digital platforms and determined Nitish Kumar’s popularity on social media platforms. His digital ranking has improved and his online engagement reached 966.8K on 9th & 10th of August.  Later, in a statement to the media, Kumar stated that the governor, who will decide when the oath-taking can occur, had been given a list of 164 MLAs.

For the second time in eight years, Kumar's decision to reverse his 2017 decision to leave the Mahagathbandhan and join the NDA kept his ally BJP in the dark. Sanjay Jaiswal, head of the saffron party's state unit, said on Tuesday that Nitish Kumar had betrayed the people of Bihar and the BJP. Whatever transpired today is a betrayal of the BJP and the people of Bihar.

According to CheckBrand, Mr. Kumar is negatively gaining 23.3% of the sentiments of people against him. Apart from online sentiments, the Bihar Chief Minister has been searched 1249 times as per the reports of CheckBrand Analysis. In fact, in the last 24 hours, searches about him have been escalated across the web.

The RJD leader launched a stinging attack on the BJP, claiming that the party has no allies in the Hindi heartland. That is what we observed happening in Maharashtra and Punjab. JP Nadda declared that regional parties would be banned.

The BJP is only capable of buying and intimidating individuals. Our sole objective was to prevent the BJP from enacting its plan in Bihar. We are all aware of how Lalu ji put an end to Advani ji's "Rath." Tejashwi Yadav continued, "At any cost, we won't back down.”
