As Dhaakad Is About To Release, Kangana Applaud Team Efforts

Bollywood actress and Queen star Kangana Ranaut today expressed her zeal to work with an enthusiast Dhaakad team.

Kangana shared a picture on her twitter handle where she can be seen in gym tights and a greyish t-shirt with the entire team. She tweeted “This is an appreciation tweet for my team, they are prepping for months for an action sequence at coal mines, while I make my guest appearance there only for a lazy rehearsal our Chief @RazyGhai practically living at the location for past few days.”

She further added “This kind of passion and commitment that artistes and technicians express, it is never just for money, then what is for? Why these crazy artists forget even their well-being or human limitation and do what they do? Well most artists don’t know and it’s okay that way #Dhakaad.”

Sharing a video of fighting scenes, Kangana explained the journey. She was seen practicing the action sequences while the movie directors were giving instructions to the ‘Mental hai Kya’ actress.

Dhaakad’s teaser which released in August showed Kangana playing the female action buff. The 45 second teaser was filled with fire and burns when Kangana enters into it holding a machine gun firing at a water surface.

Explaining her role in the film, the actress said “Dhaakad is not only a benchmark film for my career but will be a turning point for Indian cinema as well. The film is mounted on a large scale, is one of a kind female led action film, and is apt for a Diwali release. If it is received well, there will be no looking back for women in Indian Cinema. There is a big void when it comes to female-oriented action films. I haven’t heard of a lead heroine in an out-and-out action entertainer in a contemporary space. That’s why we wanted to explore this genre.”

She explained the importance of such a terrific yet thrilling experience saying “ Dhaakad is not only a benchmark film for my career but will be a turning point for Indian cinema as well. The film is mounted on a large scale, and is one of a kind female-led action film.”

The movie is directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai and stars Divya Dutta as well as Arjun Rampal in the lead roles along with Kangana.

The official trailer was released on January 18 2021 showing Kangana Ranaut as Agent Agni. The movie will be releasing in October 2021.
