Yes, the great Gurmeet Ram Rahim and his NGO Dera Sacha Sauda is in the news after its new initiative to provide ‘Food and Clothes Bank’ to all the needy in India.

‘Food and Clothes Bank’ organised by #DeraSachaSauda helps millions of poor by feeding food and necessary clothing. In this initiative, the volunteers of the NGO fast for one day in a week and donate the entire days’ food among poor.

Dera Sacha Sauda have decided to implement this initiative in order to lower the global hunger.

The initiative personifies Ram Raheem’s saying “If you eat in abundance, knowing that your neighbour is hungry due to financial problems but still you neglect it and remain busy in prayer. Then all your prayers will remain unheard and Almighty will never bless you.”

The NGO will further help in removing starvation, feeding hungry and people suffering from financial strains.

Dera Sacha Sauda is an Indian non-governmental organization described as a "religious cult" and "non-profit social welfare dera". It is headed by non-other than Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan.
