Liger-‘Saala Crossbreed’ | Vijay Deverakonda’s Big Entry Into Hindi Cinema | Social Media Trends With #Liger

Vijay Deverakonda is shooting big for Liger. Actor Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh's Pan India feature, co-produced by Karan Johar, is entitled Liger. Decrypting the title, the creators have claimed that 'liger' refers to a cross-breed between a lion and a tiger. The title of the film has the tagline 'Saala Crossbreed.'

Announcing the movie arrival, the lead actor Vijay tweeted, “Humbly announcing our arrival Pan India! Nationwide madness Guaranteed. Produced by @KaranJohar @DharmaMovies @Charmmeofficial @PuriConnects A @purijagan Film! #LIGER #SaalaCrossBreed.”

This initiative was revealed among the crowd right before the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The movie shooting was put to a halt due to the implementation of a Nationwide lockdown.

Vijay announced the title on social networking sites on Monday morning, saying, "Someone of my experience wouldn't have reached anywhere close this, according to norms and rules. But here we are with sheer madness, zeal, and hard work! It's all right for somebody like me to dream big, belief, and make it real."

Ananya Pandey is a female lead. Liger is the first project to be jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur's Puri Connects.

Liger is an adventure entertainer and signifies Vijay's entrance into the Hindi movies. Reportedly Vijay seems to portray a boxer in the movie, which is scheduled to be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy are acting in key roles.

The Co-Actor and female lead Ananya Panday took to Twitter to show her excitement for the project, calling it a duo of Dharma Productions & Puri Connects film productions. Using her official Twitter handle she shared the movie poster with caption, “Lion @DharmaMovies & Tiger @PuriConnects This duo embarking to cross all linguistic barriers and Roar together with smiling eyes Presenting Rowdy @TheDeverakonda as #LIGER And I’m so very excited and grateful to be part of this.”

Replying to Ananya’s tweet, the lead actor Vijay wrote, “Ananyaa Its been so long, Can’t wait to start our shoot. See you super soon!.”

“Excited to be back on set super soon !!! Can’t wait to see you !!! #LIGER,” said Ananya in her recent tweet.
