Rhea Chakraborty Reported At NCB Office To Mark Attendance With Brother Showik

On June 14, Indian cinema lost one of its rising talents Sushant Singh Rajput and the incident went viral across the social, electronic, and paper media. With the suspicions over the actor’s suicide, what caught more of the spotlight was the alleged involvement of Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her associates in the death of the actor and embezzlement of his funds.

Rhea had been the center of the entire news and her name was trolled across social media and among the crowds in the streets. Rhea also faced accusations of illegal drug use and assisting the drug cartel network in the Showbiz Industry.

Along with CBI, Rhea faced investigative trials with Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and following her bail conditions, she reported at the NCB office in Mumbai to mark her attendance along with Brother Showik Chakraborty today on Monday. A charge-sheet was filed against her on a narcotics charge and the trial went for nearly a month after which Rhea spent almost a month in prison while her brother Showik spent three months of imprisonment in the byculla prison before being released on a bail.

As per their bail conditions put by the Court, they must report before the narcotics agency on the first Monday of every month, for six months.

In the videos surfing through the internet, Rhea can be seen entering the NCB office with her brother Showik on Monday morning. “Rhea informed that their father, Indrajit Chakraborty, also went with them,” through media reporters outside the office.

Last week, Rhea’s advocate Satish Maneshinde requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to make their investigation outcome available to the public. While defending Rhea’s story, Maneshinde stated “She was arrested in a spurious case with no concrete evidences by NCB. Her public image was harassed and damaged by various media agencies and remained in custody for close to month before being released on bail by the Bombay High Court Judge.”

Reportedly, Rhea will be featuring in her next movie project called ‘Chehre’, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Krystle D’Souza.
