V J Chitra’s Death Brings India Into Unending Despair
Tamil Actress VJ Chitra’s untimely death has led the industry mourning. Chitra, a 28-year-old Tamil Star who is famous for her role Mullai in TV show Pandian Stores was found dead at a hotel room in Nazarethpettai, Chennai.
The actor’s death was confirmed by her fiancé Hemanth, who stated with her at the hotel room at the day of her demise.
Chitra was shooting for the show Pandian Stores in the EVP film city Tuesday night. She returned from the shoot around 2.03 AM and after that her fiancé came to know of her death.
VJ’s fiancé Hemanth claims that she went for a quick bath as soon as she returned from the shoot. He waited for a long time and when he knew something was wrong as Chitra did not came out for long, he called the hotel staff to open the door and found her dead.
Chitra was a bubbly actor and was fond of social media. Recently she posted an Instagram picture hours before dying which is why her fans can’t stop mourning for her unexpected death.
As her death news arrives, twitter flooded with #VJChitra and people across the country gathered virtually to show their love for her. Being the light of the serial, Chitra happened to be one happy and successful woman.
Apart from being an actor, dancer, anchor and model, Chitra was also a successful psychologist.
Chitra got engaged to Hemanth on 25th August 2020.
The police is still investigating the case awaiting any official statement.
