Varun Tej Brings ‘Ghani’ On His Birthday | Another Boxing Movie After ‘Liger’ | Fans Rushed To Comparison On Social Media

Varun Tej comes from the highly popular Telugu movie industry family. Varun's father Nagendra Babu is also an actor and a producer for Telugu film industry. Varun's uncles are two of the Telugu film industry's greatest superstars, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Varun was first seen on the big screen when he was just 10, he worked as a child artist in his father’s movie ‘Handsup’.

However, he first debuted as a lead in the movie called Mukunda, released in 2014 alongside Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the movie received a moderate response from the audience. The actor was also found to be corona positive during the last of week of December, to which his PR says that he has recovered. On 7th of January, Varun himself confirmed about his recovery via social media.

The new face of Telugu film industry, Varun Tej is celebrating his birthday, the actor turned 31 on 19th January. On his birthday, the actor surprised his fans by presenting his upcoming sports-drama movie titled ‘Ghani’.

On Tuesday, the filmmakers unveiled Varun’s upcoming film, Varun aka Mega Hero in south, will be working in his 10th movie in the role of a Boxer. The movie is expected to hit the big screen in the early July of 2021.

The movie is directed by Kiran Korrapati, and the film is produced by Allu Aravind. The female lead against Varuna is Sanjay Manjrekar’s daughter, Saiee Manjrekar. She was earlier seen in SKF’s movie Dabangg 3, alongside Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Another Bollywood actor, Sunil Shetty is also expected to be in the movie, his role has not been revealed yet.

The famous south actor and cousin of Varun Tej, Ram Charan did the movie announcement from his social media account. He wrote, “ Very nice and packs a punch!! Happy Birthday @IamVarunTej !! All the best team.”

Surender Reddy, A director in the Telugu and south film industry, wishing Varun, he wrote, “Happiest Birthday @IAmVarunTej Smiling face with smiling eyesHave an amazing year ahead. My best wishes for #Ghani.”

Another movie with similar theme of Boxing, was announced by Vijay Deverakonda who also hails from the Telugu movie industry. Vijay’s movie is titled ‘Liger’ and since both movies are on the platform of boxing, the Netizens on social media have started comparing the two.
