BJP against Muslim Men having Several Wives, Says Assam’s CM Himanta Biswa Sarma; Receives 43.9% Negative Reviews Online: CheckBrand
Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, stated on Thursday (8th December) that his party opposed Muslim men having several wives. Attacking Lok Sabha MP Badruddin Ajmal harshly, Sarma claimed that women might have "20-25 children" as per the alleged recommendation of the AIUDF chairman, but that the opposition leader would be responsible for paying for all of their future costs for food, clothing, and education.
