Uttar Pradesh Budget Session Scheduled to Begin Today; Receives 4.9K Online Engagement: CheckBrand

On Monday, the Uttar Pradesh Assembly's budget session will get underway.

On February 22, State Finance Minister Suresh Khanna is anticipated to present the Budget 2023–24.

On the first day of the session, the Governor Anandiben Patel will address a joint meeting of the two Houses, the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council. The Yogi Adityanath administration has now passed its second budget during its second term, and its seventh overall.

Between February 10 and 12, there was also the Global Investors Summit. The government reported that 19,058 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for investment purposes totaling Rs 33.50 lakh crore were signed.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister, gave the state's citizens assurances earlier in January that the upcoming state budget would be in line with the wishes of 25 crore people and that the goals set forth in the Lokalyan Sankalp Patra would be achieved.

The UP government previously released a press release that read, "Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with MPs and MLAs, held meetings with Ministers and Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary level officers after a thorough review of the development projects being implemented in all 18 divisions of the state.
