Once Again Social Media Surged With Demand of Justice for Sushant singh rajput | Know why Twitter is trending with CBI Serve Justice To SSR

Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, on 14 June 2020, hanging from a ceiling fan. Suicide was ruled to have been the cause of death and the official postmortem reports concluded that Rajput died due to hanging from asphyxia. An inquiry into the death, which was the subject of considerable speculation that he was mysteriously murdered, was conducted by the Mumbai Police.

Rajput had repeatedly googled three subjects a week before his suicide: Disha Salian, his former manager who had died about a week before him; news stories featuring his own name; and mental disorder information.

With No FIR being registered by the Mumbai police for the initial 60 days of the death, a nationwide crowd campaign developed questioning the dignity of city police. The campaign led to be India’s one the biggest run for seeking justice. The social media, news channels, and paper media surged with hashtags #JusticeForSSR. With people losing faith in Mumbai police and distrust with Maharashtra state government run by Shivasena supremo and the Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray. As speculations also include the involvement of the Chief Minister’s son, Aditya Thackeray in the death of Disha Salian, as both were present in a night party before her death.

This why after an intensified pressure from the ordinary public in huge numbers, on 19 August, the Indian Supreme court directed the investigation into the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput to be assigned to the Central Bureau of Investigation after the actor's family appealed that the probe is removed from the Mumbai Police.

Last month on 30th December, The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) stated that they are probing all aspects of the death of the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. So far, no possibility has been ruled out.

Another thing that has to be noted is that BJP MP Subramanian Swamy wrote a letter to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) seeking information on the status of the Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case investigation. The letter was forwarded by the PMO to the CBI office.

"The CBI is conducting investigations in a rigorous and professional manner using the latest scientific methods. During the investigation, all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as on date,” stated CBI in a response to Dr. Swamy’s letter.

So far, while we’ve written this blog, the micro-blogging site, Twitter has already surged a trend with the tagline CBI Serve Justice To SSR.

A massive group and fans of Sushant are demanding a ‘Custodial Interrogation’ of all the prime suspects in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

Here’s how people are responding over social media

“On several occasions, the investigation committee and senior officers have visited the area of the incident to better understand the circumstances leading to the incident. The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) experts in New Delhi, considered the best in India in their domain, have visited and investigated the location of the incident. The experts conducted simulation exercises as well,” said CBI in their statement while referring to the CFSL.

Based on the autopsy, the Mumbai Police had already termed his death a suicide. However,  Sushant's father, KK Singh, had filed a case in Bihar a month later, accusing Sushant's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, and her family of financially and psychologically abusing him, which eventually forced the actor to take an extreme measure.
