It’s been two years of successful Congress participation in developing Chhattisgarh. The Bhupesh Baghel government has made sure to leave no stones unturned in the state.

Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest developing states in India and it’s no exaggeration to say that CM Baghel has a lot to contribute.

Whether it’s education, health, women or tribal issues, Congress has taken account of all the obstacles carrying the state towards upliftment.

The Chhattisgarh government has returned to their owners the 4,400 acres of tribal land acquired for a proposed steel plant in Bastar. Making schools in tribal areas and encouraging others to be a part of the tribal living is another achievement of the state.

Baghel government has amended the District Mineral Fund to make a more power centric government council and to promote welfare programs. Setting up various food parks in rural areas and creating more employment, the government has made an extremely powerful economic strand in the state.

Chhattisgarh is also one of the states that has laws to provide protection to journalists covering sensitive beats and the new law came after Baghel became the CM of the state.

Under CM’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, people can get Rs. 20 lakh financial assistance which is yet another initiative to improve health.

Chhattisgarh government pays farmers the highest prices for paddy i.e Rs. 2500 per quintal. It has also increased the procurement limit of small forest produce from seven to 22 and further waived agriculture loans worth Rs 6,000 crore.

The state government has announced free education to students upto class 12^th under the Right to Education Act.

The government has announced Industrial Policy (2019-2024) that will focus on promoting investment in rural areas.

As today is the second-year completion of Congress in the state, twitter applauded the Baghel government for his endless efforts and making Chhattisgarh one of the fastest growing state in the country.
