Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, has called for a conference of all Janata Dal United (JDU) MLAs and MPs on Tuesday, concerning his hostility toward the BJP. The BJP's promise of token representation to allies as Union Ministers has been one of the many reasons why Mr. Kumar is annoyed with the BJP, which is an alliance partner of the JDU in Bihar. His online engagement is 4.1K on 8th of August.

A former colleague of Nitish Kumar in JDU, Ram Chandra Prasad Singh who had joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet last year without consulting him, was refused another Rajya Sabha seat by Mr. Kumar's party last month.

The former Indian Administrative Service officer and former JD national president, Mr. Singh, claimed that there was a plot against him since he was about to become a union minister. When he was leaving the JD(U) yesterday, he said, "I'll just say that there's no remedy for jealousy."

As a response to Mr. Singh's allegations of negligible behaviour and dragging his family into a political dispute by citing illicit property deals, Mr. Kumar dispatched his party's top leaders.

The sudden surge in outbursts from Mr. Kumar's aides, such Rajiv Ranjan, are said to be a premeditated attempt to get the BJP to give in to the chief minister's demands, which include removing Vijay Kumar Sinha as speaker of the Bihar legislature. It is no secret that Nitish Kumar dislikes Sinha.

The claim that Mr. Singh had direct conversations with the Modi administration in order to land a position in a central ministry was disproved. According to him, Home Minister Amit Shah had a conversation with Nitish Kumar about expanding the cabinet and had given the party one seat in exchange for Mr. Singh become a Union Minister.

Additionally, Mr. Singh refuted the JD that his real estate transactions had been irregular. He also claimed that his wife and other family members are the owners of the properties as they have been paying taxes since 2010 on time.
