‘Engineer's Day’, Enhancing Infrastructure Is India’s Priority, M. Visvesvaraya Attracts 93.6% Digital Positive Sentiments: CheckBrand
As Bharat completes its seventy five years of independence, it is heading towards progressive infrastructural growth that had never been possible before at present scale. Engineer’s Day is celebrated in India recognizing and admiring the research, inventions and contribution of engineers to India and the world.
To examine its digital presence, CheckBrand studied the Engineer's Day popularity index across many social media channels. Surprisingly, audience likes Engineer's Day with positive sentiments going up to 75.9% and a negative trend of 6% on social networking platforms.
It has also been searched for 516 times on the internet and is constantly trending in social media today. CheckBrand determined their digital interaction to reach 21K by September 15th, 2022.

Every year India celebrates National Engineer’s day on September 15 to recognize and honour the achievements of the notable engineer Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. Along with India, his notable works also are celebrated in Sri Lanka and Tanzania as Engineer’s day.
Popularly called Sir MV, he undertook numerous complicated tasks and added incredible infrastructural projects. He patented and set up an irrigation machine with water floodgates on the Khadakvasla reservoir close to Pune in 1903.
Apart from his contributions within his discipline, he also made his contribution into Indian economy and known as the “precursor of financial making plans in India”, in step with the Institution of Engineers India (IEI). He has also been authored of famous works, “Reconstructing India” and “Planned Economy of India”.

He further said in ‘Man Ki Baat’ that Government is working to enhance infrastructure for studying engineering.

However, a shift to greener structures that are energy economical and resilient to climate hazards is imperative however additional necessary, they have to be affordable, durable, and designed for people.
