Godavari Express Derails near Bibinagar in Telangana, No Passenger Injured
Godavari Express six coaches derailed between Bibinagar and Ghatkesar, railway officials were informed on Wednesday. There were no reported injuries to passengers, according to the officials. An official statement read, "Passengers are being cleared by the same train by detaching the derailed coaches."
An official statement states that nobody was hurt in the incident that occurred Tuesday at 9:45 AM as the train was approaching the station. It was stated that an investigation is being conducted to determine whether the steep gradient section, the extremely challenging terrain, or the temperature drop caused the derailment.
As soon as the derailment happened, the authorities acted, and a relief train for accidents sped from Visakhapatnam to Shivalingapuram station. Anup Satpathy, the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), and a group of engineers hurried to the location to keep an eye on the restoration efforts. The train's derailed coach was taken off of it and delivered to Kirandul. According to the official statement, the restoration work was finished by 2 PM on the same day.
