Sasikala Discharged From Bengaluru Hospital | Jayalalitha's Aid Will Be Admitted To Victoria Hospital

Former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalitha aka Amma's once been the strongest aid, Sasikala got a medical discharge from the Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital, where she was admitted after she complained of fever and difficulty in breathing in the Bengaluru Central Jail.

Earlier this morning, her nephew, TTV Dhinakaran, said that she is stable now.

While giving a statement to ANI, Dhinakaran said that the healthcare professionals are taking caring of her, and her health is being supervised carefully.

"She requires oxygen because of certain secondary infections in her lungs. Doctors are also evaluating whether or not CT scans are needed," he added.

V. K. Sasikala is expected to be released on 27 January.

The dismissed AIADMK politician appeared in an ambulance and was taken to the Bowring Hospital in a wheelchair. The Director and Dean of the medical institute, Dr. Manoj Kumar HV released a statement claiming that the 63-year-old politician with multimorbidity of diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hypertension, had been hospitalized with symptoms of cough and illness.

According to the ANI report, she is recovering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) and her COVID-19 tests as of now have come negative.
