'False Accusations': India Retaliated to Pak Prime Minister's Remarks on Kashmir at the UNGA, Audience favoured India with 26.4% positive Sentiments

In a very sharply response to Pakistan, India has made its point on the stage of United Nations condemning its most hostile neighbour. India said in the United Nations General Assembly that a country that claims to seek peace with its neighbours would never sponsor cross-border terrorism or harbour illegal infiltrations. In fact the mastermind behind the horrific Mumbai Attack, that included so many killings and hundreds wounded, was Pakistan that has been labelled by the world community as the cradle for terrorism.

On Friday, India exercised its right to react at the United Nations General Assembly by a generous statement in response to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir during his speech before of the joint senior debate at the start of the day.

India's First Secretary, Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Mijito Vinito, said: "It is regrettable that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has chosen the venue of this August meeting to bring false accusations against India. “He did it to cover up wrongdoing in his country and to justify actions against India that the world considers unacceptable," the Indian diplomat further said.

In his remarks in United Nations, Sharif reiterated that Pakistan wants peace with India, but added that the least of the lasting peace can only be "secure and guaranteed" through a just solution and justice for the Kashmir issue in the United Nations Charter and Security Council resolutions.

India in response to the statement by the Pakistani head, replied that a "State that claims to seek peace with its neighbours will never sponsor cross-border terrorism, nor will it harbour those who plan terrorist attacks…"
