IYC Meeting Was All About Rahul’s Comments on Scindia And His Presidentship

In his recent comments about the Congress leadership, stalwart Rahul Gandhi had said if Scindia still remained in Congress, his ticket to Chief Ministership was confirmed but he now shares the BJP seat being a backbencher.

Rahul quoted the same while attending the Indian Youth Congress meeting on 8th March.

Rahul further added that he told the same to Scindia but nobody heard him. Choosing the BJP’s path Scindia can never be the CM, said Rahul.

“I told Scindia that he will 100 per cent become the chief minister one day. But he chose a different path. Had he not left the party, he would have been CM. He is today a backbencher in the BJP and can never become chief minister there,” Rahul was seen quoting.

Referring to the Congress youth he said anybody intended to leave the party or join is free to do so and the party will not object to the decisions. Continuing his will to fight the RSS-BJP ideology that is shadowing the nation he said he will keep working towards his teachings and will serve in the nation with all his capability.

Gandhi congratulated the youth and encouraged them to be patient towards the responsibility assigned to them. Quoting Congress applauds everybody’s contribution, Gandhi assured the pulchritudinous party and its achievements.

He announced everybody who display loyalty towards Congress at any point will be rewarded: “I will continue to fight these forces. I do not fear from anyone, said Rahul.

The Indian Youth Congress meeting was attended by stalwarts of the Congress and many more party executives. The IYC showcased a presentation describing the entire Congress manifesto and targets for the upcoming years.

IYC has asked Rahul Gandhi to return as Congress president and lead the party for the win. In the same meeting it was also announced that the party will be appointing its President in June 2021.

Requesting Rahul to acknowledge the position, IYC said ‘Rahul Gandhi’s leadership in Indian National Congress will strengthen the party and its workers.’

Gandhi told the party members to continue with their programme of protests on issues of price rise and unemployment and farmers’ issues and to take to the streets against the government.
