Mamata’s Report Card Makes The Political Grounds Fuel With Criticism

As Mamata government recently shared their report card and introduced their work done in the recent years, it made headlines on twitter with the catipulating remarks made by TMC.

TMC led West Bengal has been in the news for the much-hyped leader Mamata Banerjee which also is the most interesting topic for the opposition government namely Bharatiya Janata Party.

After TMC’s announcement of the report card, the BJP criticized TMC’s report claiming falseness and fudged information.

The BJP led party in Bengal shared the criticism on its official account.

Highlights of the TMC report card-

  1. ''Sabujsathi'' scheme, "Kanyashree" scheme which were applauded worldwide.
  2. The budgetary allocation for the power department rose from Rs 550 crore in 2010 to Rs 2,897 crore in 2020.
  3. Khadya Sathi project, the food security of 9.5 crore people has been secured while 8.2 crore people are being given rice at a rate of Rs 2 kg and wheat at a rate of Rs 3 kg.
  4. The TMC, after coming to power in 2011, has raised allocation for the education sector to Rs 37,069 crore from Rs 13,872 crore.
  5. Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee said that under Bangla Awas Yojana, Rs 39,009 crore was spent by the TMC government for building 33.7 lakh rural housing units which is a record in the country.

While some of the politically updated with their regards for the support of TMC, a lot of them criticized the Mamata’s government for failing the state.

 

Partha Chatterjee, TMC Education Minister who was present at the launch of TMC report card said that the government has done various upliftment in the state. He further added that the leaders will also carry the reports to the 294 constituencies in the state.

As West Bengal polls is arriving soon, the political parties carry on with their tittle-tattle trying to make the most from the elections.
