Amul Raises Milk Prices Again, Hikes by Rs. 3 per litre
All milk variants now cost Rs. 3 more per litre thanks to a price increase by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), the company behind the popular Amul brand. The GMCCF issued a statement saying, "We would like to inform you that the price of Amul pouch milk (all variants) has been revised upwards as under with effect from February 2, 2023 night dispatch (February 3, 2023 morning)."
Following the revision, Amul Gold will be available for 66 rupees per litre, Amul Taaza for 54, Amul cow milk for 56, and Amul A2 buffalo milk for 70.
The GCMMF last increased the cost of Amul Gold (full cream) and buffalo milk by two cents per litre each in October, with the exception of Gujarat.
