A Recipe of Brand Marketing

"Some folks take their secrets to the grave, but Colonel Sanders takes his to the deep fryer"

The legendary colonel seems to have become a household name, not for guns and tanks but for the succulent pieces of "finger-licking good" chicken it provides to the watering mouths of its consumers under the famous brand name KFC. And for those of you who still haven't checked the most impactful and renowned brands in India on checkbrand.online, its time to grab a box of popcorn ahead the release of "A Recipe for Seduction"

(Insert trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d55fudJSUvE)

The 'Saved by the Bell' actor Mario Lopez becomes the sensual Colonel Sanders in Lifetime's KFC original mini movie which the makers proclaim is 100 percent facts over fiction. No, this is not just a movie about women who love men who love chicken but rather seems to be a take on the romance movie genre. But there seems to be a lot of perturbation with knives and 11 herbs & spices for a romantic movie and the trailer seems to convey way beyond that notion.

While many seem to look forward to the release on December 13, 2020, others seem to be "horrified" and termed the trailer as "absurd". On the other hand, the defenders of the immediate competitor 'Burger King', pushed for a counter-programming with the Hallmark Channel.

To ensure its brand value and digital ranking, KFC has indulged in innovative marketing practices and media management to push the brand to the global platform. Circa 2019 witnessed the release of a video game with the colonel as the love interest which eventually turned out well for the company.

The recent trailer of "A Receipe of Seduction" serves purposes way beyond just entertainment. It aims to capture the purchasing psyche of a consumer through the creation of brand value and ultimately make KFC as a heavyweight in the fast-food industry. Once a consumer begins to associate with a brand, its desirability increases in the long run. KFC's recent stunt would definately win them the hearts of its potential customers especially the millenials.

It is not just a story of love and romace but of struggle, determination and also foul play. As an aficionado of marketing, Colonel Sanders is all set to present one of the most brilliant and remarkable examples of branded content ever produced.
