Encounter Breaks between Security Forces and Terrorists in Sidhra of Jammu & Kashmir, 3 Militants Killed
In a "chance encounter" early on Wednesday (28th December) morning, at least three terrorists headed to Kashmir in a truck were reportedly killed, according to the police.
A brief encounter on Wednesday morning between security forces and militants in the Sidra area of the Jammu district most likely resulted in the deaths of three militants.
The truck they were travelling in has caught fire, according to the police, and once things have calmed down, they will be able to determine exactly how many terrorists were killed in the encounter. According to the police, it is still too early to determine which terrorist group the militants who were killed belonged to.
While speaking with reporters in Jammu, a senior police official stated that in light of January 26, the police had alerted the border security grid throughout the city.
